The department of Anaesthesiology extends its dedicated service to all surgical specialties. These include General surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology and super specialties such as Neurosurgery, Cardio thoracic surgery, Urosurgery, Plastic surgery , Pediatric surgery, Vascular surgery and Orofaciomaxillary surgery.
Our Anaesthesiology team comprising of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors have excellent credentials. Our faculty members have vast years of experience in the field of Anaesthesiology and are equipped to administer anaesthesia to simple as well as complicated surgeries. We also run a separate 6 bedded Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and extend ancillary services to the surgical ICU and expertise to the respiratory ICU. We also have a dedicated pain clinic where procedures are performed to alleviate pain. Our department also provides anaesthesia to remote areas like CT scan, MRI, ESWL, Cardiac catheterization & ECT and endoscopy & ERCP.
