The Otolaryngology and head and neck surgery deals with conditions affecting ear, nose and throat and head and neck region. We cater the health needs of patients with ENT and head and neck conditions through health promotion, disease prevention and treatment on a daily basis. We deal with congenital conditions like deaf mutism, facial deformities, snoring, sleep apnea, childhood infections including adenotonsillitis rhinosinusitis, CSOM, Hearing loss, Balance problems, Adult patients suffering with snoring and sleep apnoea, diagnosis and treatment of head and neck cancers and aesthetic conditions like rhinoplasty, pinnaplasty etc Facial Reconstructive procedures. We are equipped with world class top end Operative Microscope (Leica) and Endoscopic Console system (Storz and Stryker).
We also have a robust Audiology dept, fully staffed to carry out complete audiological and vestibular diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures along with dealing speech and language problems, a full time speech and language specialist offers speech and language therapy services.
We conduct specialty clinics for head and neck cancer, vertigo, nasal allergy, headache and voice problems.
Our mission is to deliver comprehensive health care to the patients suffering with ear, nose and throat, head and neck conditions and provide holistic training to undergraduates and postgraduates.

The Emergency ENT Department of the hospital functions round the clock, where qualified ENT consultants are available on call to attend the patients in the emergency department.
The ENT outpatient clinic, runs for six days a week i.e., Monday to Saturday, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.All outpatient care is delivered by a consultant / Professor / associate professor along with Asst Professor, Senior resident, Junior resident and internees.

Currently we take 150 undergraduate students and 2 postgraduate trainees every year who follow an NMC proposed competency based medical education program for their Training.
In liasion with general surgery, neurosurgery we conduct few mandatory instructional courses as well as hands on courses for the resident trainees, the students are also encouraged and supported to take up clinical audit and research program on regular basis.
