The national pathology day is celebrated every year on 13 April to mark the birth anniversary of the Father of Indian pathology Dr Vasant Ramji Khanolkar. This is the day to celebrate and commemorate the contributions of the ‘consultant’s consultant ‘- the pathologists. The Department of Pathology , NRI Institute of medical sciences celebrated the day with full vigour and enthusiasm. The faculty , postgraduates and technical staff discussed the finer aspects of pathology practice today under the leadership of Head of department , Dr A Bhagyalakshmi. This was followed by a very interesting slide quiz and discussion for the postgraduates and all faculty. Prizes were distributed to the deserving postgraduates.
